I have been in the window covering industry since 1985. During high school I worked everyday after school with Charlotte Venetian Center, which my father bought in 1980. My daily responsibilities consisted of repairing, restringing, cleaning, and installation of many different types of products.
In 1990, I went full time and became Hunter Douglas certified for professional window covering installations. Over the next ten years, I continued to help my father until he decided to let me take over the business. During this transaction he taught me the tricky and difficult art of custom Drapery sales and installations. Between the years of 1994 and 1999 we were the largest volume dealer for Hunter Douglas products in Charlotte, N.C. and the surrounding area.
In 2004, my family and I moved to the Charleston area and I took a job as a sales representative for a custom plantation shutter company providing full service such as measuring and installation to valued customers in the area. In this wonderful market of the low country I was blessed with many great clients and designers, but in 2006 I returned to what I really enjoy the most, Professional Window Treatment Installations. As a seasoned veteran in the window covering industry, I have been involved in various complex installations and have learned the tricks of my trade on how to get the job done.
By the same token I have also learned what not to do. The most rewarding part of my job is to see the transformation and professional interior design services come together to add value and satisfaction to a job well planned. We’ll make you glad you called.
